About Us
Dan FitzGerald is a very experienced Recording Engineer/Producer. Clients range from Freddie White, to Mary Black, to Tom Waits. The science of acoustics can greatly help in recording music, so Dan has turned his attention to that. Personal study was followed by a Diploma Course at the Institute of Acoustics UK. The learning continues on a Masters Degree course this year, but has already blossomed into practice. Irish Acoustics is the vehicle set up to offer sound advice on Noise and Acoustics issues.

Design Advice before and during building to enhance the structure acoustically and in terms of soundproofing. This can greatly enhance the building and prevents later problems.
Noise Surveys to measure and quantify noise and identify it’s source. We can then suggest ways to reduce or contain it. This can protect hearing, reduce stress, and solve conflicts. Our Noise Surveys and Sound Transmission Tests (SoundProofing) are performed to ISO Standards using Calibrated Bruel and Kjaer equipment.
