Donncha Moynihan has turned his Rise Studio room around, literally, and is experimenting with Dirac Live room correction software.

John Ferraris is building a personal use studio in a London garden. He has achieve very decent soundproofing using readily available materials and DIY.
We recently visited Ed Lewis at his wonderfully personal Giant Wafer Studios in Wales. He is undertaking a major rebuild extending his live room,
and adding a large dead one. Ed builds everything impeccably, including ‘vintage’ preamps and compressors.
On the return trip we experienced the hospitality of Real World Studios, a truly amazing place.
Roberto Drassinower has been doing an extensive and innovative acoustic makeover of his studio in Toronto.

Noise Control
IA are currently help a Hotel which is emitting Noise from the bands playing at Weddings etc.
We are working with several partners on this one. Wright Windows, Insulex, Secondary Glazing Ireland
A rural Doctor’s Surgery is suffering from Noise incoming from a Pharmacy next door.
Poor building practice during the Tiger comes back to bite. Our partner builder, Sean O Sullivan will be installing secondary interior wall layers.
Irish Acoustics Website goes live
Founded in 2007, IA has been gradually building skills and contacts. We are now ready to increase awareness of what we can bring to the table. This website is the start of the process. It’s early days, content is being added daily. However we are already getting compliments on the ‘Look’ and ease of use of the site. This is entirely due to our Web and Graphic Guru Paul Goode

Cormac O’Connor has engaged Irish Acoustics to design his new RingaBella Studio, 19Hertz
The building work is progressing rapidly under the meticulous eye of Donie. We are working with STO Acoustic Plaster to hopefully create a showcase of what can be done with this innovative new product. The design and build process will find it’s way into the Portfolio here shortly.
